The first and second grade class had a fabulous time visiting the Seattle Children’s Theater on October 21! We watched Rikki Tikki Tavi (about a mongoose who lives in India and wants to become a member of a certain garden community.) We learned that the playwright decided to make a few changes from the original story (which was written by Rudyard Kipling) to focus on the story of friendship and working together. The four actors and the beautiful set made the story come alive. What a great way to spend our morning!
