Free Fishing Event at Green Lake for Kids (ages 5-14)

on Saturday, May 2

Event Overview: A net will be installed in the swim area by Bathhouse Theater and stocked with trout. On May 2nd, kids & parents will show up to registration to check in and receive their registration packet with event shirt. Kids are assigned or registered to a flight (fishing time).  Kids & parents, will hear a brief water safety segment.  After the segment, kids (with parents) will receive a NEW Zebco fishing pole as they head towards the shore.  Once the flight is ready, fishing will begin and last for 30 minutes or until the child has caught 2 fish.  Volunteers will be on hand to help bait hooks, remove hooks, untangle lines, and make the experience a positing one for each child.  After catching their limit or  at the end of the flight, kids (with parents) will move to the cleaning station where volunteers will clean the fish.  Recipes ideas and how to cook fresh trout are included in the registration packet.  Fishing times are 9-9:30, 10-10:30, 11-11:30, 12-12:30, 1-1:30.


Tasty Pastry Sale

 Stop by the main hallway Tuesday morning before class and pick up a tasty pastry.   Proceeds from the sale of this event will go to the Fairview family recently in need.


Fairview is partnering with 3R Technology to host an Electronic Recycle Week starting Sunday, April 19th and ending on Friday, April 24th. Bring your old computers, laptops, printers, phones and other electronics that you no longer need or use.

On Friday, May 15th, 2015,(MINI Jog-a-thon for Pooh and Ocean room is May 14th) our students will jog their way through Maple Leaf’s community park to raise funds for our new gym floor. We are excited to partner with generous sponsors who will help make our Jog-a-thon a great success!  By supporting Fairview Christian School you help us empower our students to become healthy, responsible and compassionate people in their communities.

Work Party - This Saturday

We have 2 upcoming work parties scheduled - April 25 and May 16 from 9a-Noon. Great way to earn support hours.


Dress code for spring musical

The K-4 Spring Musical is just around the corner!   The students have been working very hard and are preparing an opera, ‘Three Nanny Goats Gruff’ for you to enjoy on Thursday,  May 7th at 7pm.  (Students need to arrive at 6:30)
