Western Washington FLL Kickoff Celebration

Location:  Microsoft, Business Conference Center, Building 33, 10670 NE 36th Way, Redmond, WA

Join us for a Kickoff Celebration of the FIRST LEGO League season.

• Students Bring your Robot and work on strategy, building and programming

• Coaches and Interested Parents will have the opportunity to attend workshops and panel discussions

• Visitors come and join us to find out more about the FIRST LEGO League program – drop in anytime during the day.

Morning Session: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Afternoon Session: 1:00 pm -4:00 pm

Seattle Mini Maker Faire

The fourth annual Seattle Mini Maker Faire is a co-production of EMP Museum and Penny University. The September 19th and 20th, 2015  faire anticipates 90+ makers, sponsors, and partners and over 6,000 attendees.

Makers range from tech enthusiasts to crafters to homesteaders to scientists to garage tinkerers. They are of all ages and backgrounds. The aim of Maker Faire is to entertain, inform, connect and grow this community.

NEW Fitness Classes at Fairview

 

Yoga Flow

Tuesdays 7:30 – 8:30 PM

A perfect end to your hectic summer days! This class is a synthesis of movement, breath, and energy. A Vinyasa flow class, slowed down so that we can relax and practice proper technique

 

POP Pilates

Thursdays 4:30-5:30 PM

A fusion of the core strengthening and body sculpting benefits of classical Pilates with a modern twist! This fun mat work out is choreographed to your favorite top 40 hits, flows from one exercise to the next and leaves no muscle untouched!

 

Classes are taught by Jess, Maple Leaf mom, ACE Certified personal trainer and 200 hour RYT. Classes are open to everyone and can be adapted to meet your body’s needs. We will meet in the school cafeteria. Bring a yoga mat (a few extra will be available for loan), some water and get ready to have fun while getting fit.

 

Classes start September 1st! (no classes 9/15 or 9/17)

Drop in for $10 or save with a punch card. $45 for a 5 class punch or $80 for a 10 class punch.
