Dear Fairview Families,

Once again a new school year is upon us and we continue to be excited about what God is doing here at Fairview Christian School. We sincerely hope you have had a wonderful, relaxing summer with lots of memories made. I’m pleased to announce this year’s theme verse, Isaiah 40:31 “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” We are looking forward to a wonderful year at Fairview – one full of waiting on the Lord so we are prepared to mount up on eagles’ wings!

The information found on this webpage should give you the ability to be well prepared for school. At the bottom of this page, you will find documents for you and your child. Please click on the grade your child will be attending to view the information. Each file contains a brief letter from that grade’s teacher, as well as a supply list. We have also provided links to a printable version of the calendar, and an orientation schedule for your convenience. Please contact our office at 206-526-0762 or through email should you need assistance with this information. Thanks! The files are in PDF format, and may be viewed by using a “free” Acrobat Reader. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader, you can “click” on this download button to obtain a free copy.

Last school year Fairview School began using RenWeb, a school data base for Christian Schools.  We worked with the program for several months, slowly integrating the components into what we do here on a day to day basis. This coming year, we will be transitioning even more of our operation to RenWeb and we are excited about how this can impact our school. As parents, you will be able to log in to Ren Web’s ParentsWeb, from our existing website, and be able to see homework assignments, student grades (3-8), upcoming events, family directory, school billing to name a few. You will also be able to update any of your personal information and log volunteer hours. As we all become more familiar with the system, we are hopeful that it will increase our communication between school and home, as well as helping you to stay up with what your students are doing.

You will note that school is starting BEFORE Labor Day again this year. Our orientation will be August 30th and during that time please look for school support opportunities, background check forms (needed for volunteering), a letter from our PTF chair, updates to the Parent/Student Handbook and all other pertinent forms needed for the school year.
