I have been the volunteer computer keyboarding teacher at Fairview Christian School for over a dozen years. I currently work with the 3rd- and 4th-graders. Previously I was a high school business teacher in Auburn where I helped establish the computer applications classes in the early 1970s. When I retired in 1995, I felt led by God to help develop the Fairview computer lab and then to help students use the computers. I come on Wednesdays to help my students for around thirty minutes. Not only do they learn to keyboard using the correct fingers, but we also use Microsoft Publisher to create a book made up of each student's stories. My husband and I (he is also retired) live at the Cristwood Park in Shoreline. We attend the Fairview Church where I have attended my entire life. We enjoy traveling (both in the USA and overseas) and participating in a variety of activities offered where we live. I am an avid paper crafter and haven't bought a commercial greeting card in about fifteen years. I also enjoy watching any number of athletic events both in person and on television. Go Seahawks! And go Fairview Eagles!
